I agree - if you leave them in the garage too long they do sulk - need to get them out fairly often to keep them happy

Have not fitted the CDI yet - waiting for the better weather.

The fork tubes on the RGV have a fine thread into the bottom bracket which is covered in thread sealing compound and a small hex screw ...

I have removed them on some RGV USD forks - Its not easy, lots of heat, WD40 and much swearing. You can probably get it powder coated without taking it apart.
