I thought you may be interested in my 1981 50cc factory van veen kreidler gp bike,it has over 21bhp and revs to 18,000 rpm ,

That is just so nice, I have raced with these 50cc and they go great.
There are six or so that are in Australia all in SA that used to race at Mt Gambiar . A German guy by the name of Trevor ? (I would have to look it up)
used to bring them out each time he went back to Europe to race.

Hi
thanks for the remarks, i have two kreidlers but the one above has a short stroke engine and a nico bakker frame and gp history. Only the wheels,forks and brakes are from the production racer. I will post some images of my other bike later in the week.

No i dont race with the classic 50 club,i hope to do a few meetings with the CRMC and the aintree club in 2011. I will use my other kreidler as the parts for the factory bike are very hard to find.

I look forward to seeing the other Kriedler, i normally go to at least one Aintree meeting a year. One of my favourite tracks, always plenty of two strokes racing............

Always loved the Kreidler, I even had a Protar kit model (was it Jan De Vries?) when I was a kid, believe it's still in the loft somewhere.
