Just thought I'd put a pick of my RG brake callipers before and after. well pleased as first time attempt at restoring a set, was a bit weary of tackling them but just took my time and used in valuable advice from on here. They were in a right state and the pistons completely seized, if it wasn't for a slide hammer piston removal tool I got on ebay I don't think they would have ever budged, even with that it took about 20 mins to free each one. I got a cheap small ultra sonic cleaner which took off most of the old flakey paint and removed the completely solid remains of brake fluid. matched the gold as best I could and gave them 3 or 4 coats of petrol resistant lacquer. Thanks again for all the advice so far..

Very Happy

Thank mate, cant wait to get the bike finished and redo all the niggly bits and rusty bits that annoy me, I need to get an MOT first so I can get it registered so concentrating on the basics, so once its registered think ill probably re strip her and get the frame painted and really sort t he bodywork, that's when ill invest a bit more money in her. bit worried about spending too much until I get the registration done, it seems a bit of a mare TBH.
