Just a couple of thoughts

I will be very surprised if these are truly unique, do any other bikes use the same seals or oil pump?

Have you tried a cross reference like the timken guide? I have found some obscure seals on there before.

Best of luck,

Im hoping they are not unique! Thats why im trying a few of my seal places as and when i get round to them, they must match something, its the extra rubber lip that seems to be the problem, i dont have a cross reference book but if i find one ill have a look through

Just looked up the Timken Interchange Guide for rubber seals to see if they have the parts listed..
Looked for 92049- seals and unfortunately they have 92048 and 92050 .. But not the part number I'm looking for.

They may still have a comparable seal though .. It just may need more work to identify.

Surely other oil pumps have similar seals.. Pray Pray Pray

Thanks for the help guys, I will keep looking Smile

Well we can always have some made if not!

I seem to remember skf did a seal with the extra rubber halfway up the seal, and we could always find an equivalent, maybe rubber up the whole side like a shaft seal?

At least its being used as intended.. 80s learner thrashed to within an inch of its life every trip to the chippy. I wish I was 18 again...erm but then again.. Har har

And another engine to rebuild.. Now where's my flywheel puller

Well it's getting used every day by a 18yo in all weathers and still going well.. Having come back from work he was absolutely drenched. Great to see the AR doing its job Smile
