Hi
I wouldn't think you would get one in UK now, without heavy damage.
I did see a few new ones advertised on EBay a few months ago on problem was the location (Portugal)?

The AR50 is a great little bike but you will be disappointed in restricted form
Bite the bullet and get the bits from BDK, don't forget to pay attention to the clutch, the extra weight the bike will have to pull in most cases will have an affect

Regards
Sean

Had a few bits off a guy in Portugal, if it's the same one he's very reliable. I will ask if he has any fairings left

Hi Sean,

I'm expecting to need to do upgrades to it but that's for the future. I just want to experience it in it's original form first.

I've bought a new fairing mounting kit, a mint air box and a front sprocket cover from the chap in Portugal and each transaction was perfect, so if he did have any mint cockpit fairings, I'd have no hesitation in buying from him.

As for 'fat-shaming' well I dare not say a word!

Hi Sean,

yes I've seen a couple of the after market options and I may end up taking that route.

Just got the fuel tank back from the sprayers and, to be honest, I'm very impressed for the price of the repairs. OK it's not perfect but it's a million times better than it was and is way way better than I could've wished for for £100.

At least this now means that I can save the original scheme for the tank, so I can now get the rest of the plastics done. OK I may not be able to get the same decals for the side panels but, as long as I get something 'in taste' then I'll be happy.

I'll post some shots later, breakfast on my day off comes first!

Hi
To be honest the original finish wasn't that great, mine has NOS tank and it's a bit rough in places.

Best place to match the decals is Image Works 0115 9443111 or speak to Andrew at Andybike services 07764 898222, they are best I have ever found.

Andrew painted the AR125 and did my YPVS in Kenny Roberts colours, amazing finish and detail on the decals.

Did you paint the Frame or powder coat

Regards
Sean

Hi Sean,

ta for the contacts. I've e-mailed Image Works for their input, noting I contacted them sometime ago about Serow decals and they didn't have then back then.

The frame, and a few other parts are to be powder coated, in the near future.

Hi
Image Works are always very bussy, because they are really good at matching old decals, with me being fairly local I just call in.

I would contact Andrew as a back up, he might not answer if he is painting but he always calls back.

Regards
Sean
