|
|
Had some Stainless Laser Cut Radiator Covers made as a direct replacement to the rusty steel BBQ grill kindly provided by KHI
Will not be to everyone's taste, but at least its nice to have a few blingy extras that normally only seem to be available to Yammie owners..
As fitted to Decs bike today..

That looks very nice. Did they charge much for a one off? |

Had it made in Thailand.. the first one to make a pattern was not that expensive.. the next 9 were then an absolute bargain
Order of 10 was really the minimum to make it worth their while..as far as I was concerned it was a steal. Not making loads for EBay.. .it's to my design and only for dedicated AR fans
I'm quite pleased with the results and fit spot on _________________ We are where we are... |

Love it, love the use of the old Kawasaki symbol thingy/emblem?
I would buy one of these, if I had an AR125.

Thanks Howie
The symbol is the KHI (Kawasaki Heavy industries) logo that was ressurected on the new supercharged bike. Just thought it was credible like the Yamaha logo.
If you had a wonderful AR125 Mr H it would be a pleasure to let you have one... you know you want to _________________ We are where we are... |

They certainly did. It's way better in the flesh than the photos show.
Good to know this kind of thing can be made fairly easily.
I've had gasket sets, clutch damper kits, brake fittings and rare inlet rubbers made up to now. But this is the most impressive part to date _________________ We are where we are... |

Ooh, clutch damper kits...just the thing I wanted for my SDR. Can you confirm that the material used was/is suitable? If so, can you point me/us in the direction of your supplier Shaun?
Thanks & regards,
James |

Thanks for that Shaun, but those DT125 dampers look quite different. It may be possible to cut the kidney-shaped pieces in half and remove the connecting webs, but I'm not even sure if they will be the correct size .
Still, thanks for the info!
Regards,
James |
