I wasn't sure where to put this, but the 'Gag Bikes' section seems appropriate for several reasons!

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k376509580

An unfinished project TZM50R with a TZR250 1KT engine. Suspension is supposedly a combination of TDR50/80 and TZR50 parts. The seller agrees that the two-into-one exhaust is not ideal, but he likes the sound and suggests that performance will not be a problem as the bike weighs 40kg less than a TZR 1KT Shocked Laughing .
The seller further suggests that the bike may not be ideal for long-distance touring (!) or daily commuting to school (!!), but offers the view that it may be best kept for occasional running around in the neighbourhood...
The seller fails to mention how long one can expect to remain alive while riding the machine!

Regards,
James

Laughing Laughing Sorry Tim - I want to stay alive a little bit longer to finish my other projects!

I think a slightly less insane (and possibly easier) engine swap option would be to fit a TZR125, SDR200 or DT200R motor - still plenty powerful for a bike of the TZM's size.

Could you imagine this bike with a Formula 3 kit fitted to the 1KT motor - nearly 70ps...?? A 1RK/2KM TZ250 motor would have a similar effect Shocked .

I see the bike did sell...not to me thankfully Laughing .

Regards,
James
