Can any of you guys recommend a company to rebuild my crank and a rough estimate of cost? .The engine is my next stage of resto and need 2 x pistons , rings , pins ,little ends ,seals and bearings also.

sorry don't know about the crank.
haven't done one ..yet.......

But i would go for the genuine Suzuki pistons etc.
They are on Ebay at the moment i thought for 28 GBP a 0.50 Mk 3 piston.

All the parts you need are still available new from Suzuki but not cheap.

I have been using the same guy for over 10 years. Dave Hammond of DHRRacing 01304 829829. Tell him Ian Read recommended you.

You can use pattern parts, but the quality isnt the same and they wont last or perform as well.

The last job he did for me was a GT380 crank. I supplied the parts and he charged £70 for the strip and rebuild of the crank. A twin should be about £50 plus parts

P J Motorcycle Engineering did my Gamma crank and rebore. Cant fault themm highly recommended
