hopefully somebody can help me, i am in the middle of rebuilding a 1985 ar125 b2 model and have stripped the engine to do a bottom end rebuild only to discover the rotary disc valve is shot! i have been to my local kwak dealer and apparently this part is no longer availible, obviously im not happy coz the bike is all but there and just needed to do engine to finish the bike so im to far in to abandon it!!!! not that i want to. if any body knows where i can source a new one or even a good second hand one it would be greatly appreciated

Hi Karlos
Welcome to the DS forum

I've probably got one in my spares you can have.
Does it have to be the restricted B2 dsk valve or would you be happy with an A model disk?

I will have a look - but won't get time until later in the week..
Will let you know ok
Shaun

Either would be greatly appreciated mate just so I can hear it run, I didn't realise bits for these bikes were gonna be so hard to get, I really do appreciate it and look forward to hearing from you

Some bits for the AR125 are getting harder and harder to source.
Also the number of these little beauties on the roads is being reduced rapidly due to the value of second hand parts such as the alloy wheels - they are being stripped rather than rebuilt.. With many of the parts shipped overseas..
Crying or Very sad

I'm notoriously forgetful so don't hesitate to chase me up with a PM if I haven't come back to you on the disk valve by Thursday or Friday when im back from work ok

All the best
Shaun

I like to think of TS as a two stroke guardian angel.
Did you know that in the chill of night, at the scene of the crime, Top Shaggy, like a streak of light, well he arrives just in time!!!
Wealth & fame, he has ignored, & get this, action is his reward.

And if any of you lot can remember where I have obviously plagiarised this from........ then answers on a postcard please.
