| Hey guys, wondering if anyone can offer an opinion ?? Have an 87 rg250ch and am puting new tires front and back... stocks are 100-90-16 front and 110-90-18 rear. Here is the question, can I put a 120 on the rear and do I have to change the front size without affecting the steering geometry?? Any thoughts would help!! |

Hey Lil Screamer,
I'm sorta in your neck of the woods, just a bit more north east in the nations capital.
I put on Perelli sport demons 120/90 r18 rear in the stock swingarm and a 110/90 r16 in the front. Seems more stable at speed and steering doesn't seem quite as sharp with this set up.
Seems pretty good so far. If I were to do it again, I might try the 100-90 up front instead of the 110. |
