?.....I took the plunge and started making my own gaskets.

Other than head gaskets they are relatively simple to do.

I have even spent £3 on a set of Silverline leather punches to make better holes. I managed without but it is easier with. Just google "making your own gaskets". Simple and rewarding.

I use leather punches to make my own gaskets... These work a treat Wink

Well i phoned up about those SDR's &had a chat with the guy selling them, well more like listened to him as i think he liked the sound of his own voice Wink And the best deal he would do is to leave the red one untouched, maybe just fire it up to make sure it ran ok, then let me have it for £2200 Shocked Dont think i'll be buying that then Laughing

That's a shame mate, yeah 2200 is too much for that.

But I suppose the prices going up is going to be inevitable.

Like I said I have two unregistered ones both rough lol and I had to buy them as a pair with lots of spares including a spare motor.

I was looking for 6 months for one so had to settle for two as he wouldn't split them.

I will keep a lookout for you.

Kris
