Hi, it's been a long time since I posted anything on here but I thought I ought to show you how far I've got with my rg500 resto, it's not a special build as such but it's not an original resto, I'm pretty sure they never came with powder coated frames anyway?! Will be posting a few more pics in a few days as it's at the stage where things are gonna start moving very fast so let us know what you guys think, few people have frowned on the fact that Ive mutilated a good rg but powder coating it so will be interested to here your thoughts!

Good on you, look forward to seeing the rebuild pictures.
In the end bikes can be kept as museum pieces or ridden as they where intended. Its your bike so make it how you want it - that way at least you will be smilin from ear2ear !

Hey and I get the feelin there's a little yellow/black theme going on ... I'm sure that it will look great

All the best
Thumbs Up

Can't believe it's really that easy to put a picture up!? After all the times I've tried! Thanks for the help, that's the last photo now until I get the carburettors back from being cleaned then the new rv valves and carbs can be fitted and with a bit of luck she should run!
