Hi Justin, and welcome.

Let's have some pictures of your SDR, we like pictures on here.

Affraid I don't have any spare indicator lenses, but the indicators on my bike are the same as the ones that were on my 3XV. Suspect you'll find there's quite a choice of Yamaha models using the same ones so they shouldn't be hard to find, try eBay first.

You wait for a bus and then two turn up:

Do these look right?

I see you're down as a West Yorkshire man, will we be seeing you at Squires at Sherburn for their two-stroke day or other events?

Hi Justin
Tried to view your pic and it needed a password on flickr. If it hadnt I was going to post it for you. Very Happy

I always use photobucket as it seems easier and it works.
... If at first you don't succeed....

Very nice ! Quite fancy one of those, bet there real fun to zap about.
Is that the standard pipe with the twist behind the front wheel? I've seen SDR's with both types of exhaust, with and without the 'twist' ?

Is it just a model number thing?

Mine is the one with the 'twist' on the pipe, i believe this is the standard pipe. I think the others that you have seen with an end can on are aftermarket pipes. There is a bit of a cult following for these bikes in Japan and there are many aftermarket bits and mods for them.

Check this site out (it can be translated but some of the info is a bit vague)
