|
|
We haven't really tried too hard to publicise this place much. We handed out web/email addresses on the Stafford Show stand but we didn't have a forum then. We'd fixed that by Uttoxeter but it's hard to tell how many new people saw us there.
I've mentioned it briefly on some of the other bike forums (TZR, NS400R, TDR, RGV, LC Club, Kawasaki Triples, Gag Bike, KR1/S, PB mag) and we've had a little plug in both Classic Bike and PB magazines too. Blue Smoker also wrote an article for the VJMC 'Tansha' magazine.
So where did you find us ? |

Erm, well, Blue Smoker told me about it.
His actual words were "Create a website for 80's two-strokes, hang a forum off it and let me know when it's running. And be quick about it."...

I was the only one willing to lend a total stranger my RGV
well worth it though, made new freinds and re-ignited my passion for my 2 strokes again.
Caused me to buy TDR250 now as well |

Having forced me to buy a an oddball TZR, Strokerboy then made me pick the bugs out of his latest dodgy website creation
The bikes are top fun though , and the site's great for re-motivating anyone who might be disheartened by their seized stroker |

I have rather belatedly joined after seeing the Stand a the Uttoxeter Show. My reason is to try and ressurect my AR125 (third time it has come back from the brink in the 5 years I have owned it! )
I am sure I will have questions and requests relating to this and the other Stroker, my GT550.

all a lot of fun but not a lot of time to work on them as yet
currently playing with and RG 250 to trick that up a bit... _________________ track days rule |

Howdy,
Was guided here by our good friend Tim
Hope to be able to contribute every now and again.
My only two stroke claim to fame is a few HRC RS125 engines, 3 RG400, couple of TZR's , maybe a RZV500 one and a KR250S kicking about the flat Do have bundles of swingers from the usual suspect and a couple of frames too !
My own bikes are 4 stroke ( I know, burn the heathen )
Going to post some drool photo's to make up for it though
ATB,

Can't remember... I think it started with a link someone sent me to this photo on KR250.Org:
That led me here! |

Ha ha.....the manufacturers went to so much trouble making these bike sleek and aerodynamic, then race organisers made them put barn doors on the front for number plates!! _________________ Breathing new life into an old Gamma!
