Hello, found you all via a search. Had a number of 2 strokes in my yoof, RD's GT380 and GT550 and GT500, even had a CZ250 which was apile of shite.

I also raced production 350LC in the early 80's while I was banned for 2 years (who was a naughty boy then!!).

I was given the option very recently, "are you interested in some bike bits I've got round the back otherwise they are going to the tip".

So I went round with not much enthusiasm and what did I find........

a complete TZR125 which turns over but is in a sorry state, a rolling chassis, 2 frames, seats, wheels, two complete fairings, couple of tanks, plus assorted stuff in boxes, rads, wiring etc

Now having had a close look at it all, I would rather just sell it on and have someone else make some use of it, a site like this is more likely to be able to do something with it all that. I will be applying for the V5 for the complete bike and frames. At least I'm saving it from the scrap heap.

I just dont have the space to do anything with it (them) and besides I've put some weight on since my 350LC days. I would rather put the dosh into getting something like a GT500, which seem to be the only affordable 2 strokes these days. My current road bike is (am I allowed to say this?) a ZZR1400, would love to get back to having a smoker as well.

Now in the for sale section

Hello All,
I'm new to the forum. I found the site while looking for parts for my various bikes. The ones most applicable to this site include a few YSR50's and 2 Suzuki RB50's. On 2 of my YSR's, I've gone full mad scientist. I have put a YZ85 engine in the frame and just recently found a Honda Grom rolling chassis to attempt to put the front & rear suspension on it. The other YSR I have TDM50 f&r rims and rear swingarm that needs some customizing to fit.
It's nice to see this forum!

Welcome, shadowphax and lexlu2569. Thanks for posting something straight away. Very Happy

It'll be good to see photos of what you've both got, whether you're looking for parts or advice or just to sell it on.

Dermot here, Joined up for the SDR 200 info.
I have had this for five years, but it was tucked away.

It's out again now and started up handy enough.

I will post up a new thread with more pics some evening.

Howdo damion here, found the site via the web.
Had bike for 20 years and my first fast bike was the RG250.

I'm looking for another one now, as I fancy a stroker again.

Other bikes include Transalp, Africa twin, c90, vtr 1000 chop.

Keen to add an rg to the collection, probably buy one and do a rebuild.

Cheers

Welcome Damion.

Once you have had a stroker, its in your blood for ever. Nice collection of bikes. I see a cub in your list. Top man. You can't beat a cub.

Found the site via Google and enjoyed quite a few if the threads I have seen so far. I am on quite a few other forums relating to yam 2 strokes.

Cheers

Hello. I've just bought a rather tatty R!-Z and found this place after searching for technical information.

The last 2T I had was a CRM250AR a few years ago.
