Had a bit more shed time today, gave the engine a good degreasing and managed to get it fitted Very Happy

I suppose one advantage of everything being covered in an oily mess is that when its cleaned off theres not too much corrosion underneath Laughing
I'm pleased with how its cleaning up and coming together, this is not going to be an immaculate show bike by far, i just want it cleaned up and put back together, its been sitting in bits at the back of my shed for far too long

Looking lovely fletch are you going for one of each stroker? Im seriously thinking of swapping out my four stroke for a 250 now, this site makes me want one more every time!

I'm not trying to get one of every stroker Paul, I'm just trying to get the bikes which i lusted after back in the day when i was 17-18 Laughing
All of these bikes were cutting edge back in late 80's early 90's when i was in my late teens, they were the objects of my desires Laughing Laughing Laughing

I have been steadily plodding on with the RGV this weekend, footrest hangers and footrests fitted, then started fitting all loom/battery box/water pipes&thermostat housing etc etc

The pics probably don't look much different to the last ones but theres alot more parts fitted now, the pile of parts left to be fitted is alot smaller now Laughing

I didn't get anything done last weekend as i had to work Sad But this weekend i have managed to get a little bit more done, fitted the loom properly and made sure all electrics are working, and then fitted the cables to the power valves and set those up,I didn't take any pics as it doesn't really look any different to the last ones, there's really not much more left to do now which is good as i'm getting side tracked by another little project that i have acquired Wink
Also been and collected my freshly painted tank

I'm going to get the bottom of the tank viynl wrapped blue when i have the suzuki decals put on Wink

Also found these silencers whilst i was in the loft looking for something else, they are for a VJ22 but i think i can make them work if i move the mounting brackets

Coming along nicely, a complete reversal of the way mine's going, it's starting to look like what you started with Smile

Another weekend or two and you'll have to book another MOT.
