In responding to another post, I thought I would show the difference between top / bottom steering head bearings on the AR125 - OEM compared to aftermarket roller bearings.

The ones to the left are for the top of the steering stem and have an inner diameter of 25mm

The ones to the right are for the bottom and have an internal diameter of 28mm

Both sets (upper and lower) have an external diameter of 46.02mm (measured cold 10 degrees C)

Ball bearings for OEM cones not shown.

Very Happy

Hello again ts do you know the actual ball bearing diameter? Or am i just being far too picky now! They were pretty new races when i stripped it so really just want to replace the balls but i wanted to order them from a local bearing suplier rather than ebay,
If not ill just have to replace with rollers

Thanks

Ball bearing diameter is: 3/16 inch or 4.7625mm

I went to the garage to measure them and realised the size was in the parts scan above... Rolling Eyes Wink
