Pezz, this is exactly the sort of stuff we want to see on here, we're very grateful for you taking the effort to post words and pics, even (maybe especially? Embarassed ) when things aren't quite going to plan.

We're in awe of your imagination, your spannering skills and particularly your philosophical attitude to being badly let down. Clap

In the meantime, PM me with your address and I'll put a couple of Diff'rent Strokers stickers in the post, that should help your project in the right direction. Wink

Ahem.... Shhhhh.... I usually 'rob' a couple when I see the guys doing a show .. Next is Stafford in October and I'm definitely intending to visit on sat or Sunday to see the DS stand, listen to them start up a few old racers, and have a walk around the bike boot (usually in the rain).

Even better get a DS Tshirt .. Unfortunately you have to pay for the Tshirts (I've never managed to tea leaf one of those) but hey .. They are ace !!!

Sadly it failed to launch . . . the swingarm I got extended by a motorcyce fabricator, cost me a lot of coin and in the end was useless. Taking into account the cost of parts travel time and all that it was over $1200 to destroy 2 good DR600 swingarms.

Pulled it all apart and put it back to stock. Gave it back to Andy who gave it to me.

I have since built a funky RV125 with a PE175 motor and a host of other mods

It blew a hole in the chamber and leaned out

Rebuilding it for this year but picked up a GT200X5 motor which will be in there in a few months. . . .
