I shouldnt mention his name but sp_bott recently admitted to owning a superdream at some pointtin the past, so got me thinking about the bikes I would least like to admit to having owned, and mine is probably a suzuki gsxf600 not the older slightly better looking one but the ugly rounded one! Had some fun on that though,

So come on whats the worst you lot have had?

Not owned but I did have to ride my cousin's Vespa round to her house for her. It felt like I was sat on the karzi while I rode down the road. I had to stop at one point to make sure I'd pulled my trousers up Embarassed .

Bond bug. I had an airfix model of one in about 1969 & that was probably what put the thought in my mind a few years later. At least it was dry - & I could fiddle with the engine whilst driving as it's in the cabin!
What do you mean it's a car? Drove it on my bike licence post-RD250dx!

Had an airfix model of a saab draaken jet fighter as well but never bought one of those........

Actually id like to admit now to a badly tuned yamaha aerox, that i decided would look great in rattle can colours, from yellow at the front through orange and then to red! That really was probably the worst!

Come on people we must have had worse than this!

I've never owned a crap bike, all mine have been great. Seriously, I'd have 'em all back tomorrow if I could. Some have been unreliable and/or tatty but I've loved 'em all. Love

I've never owned a Honda. Don't know if that explains it or not ? Eh?

Hmmm....

There's a couple of superdreams in my murky biking past. Bought as stop gaps between LCs and both ended up being sold as scrap!

My first bike on the road was a six-year old Honda Express, with baskets front and rear, a sixteenth birthday present from my parents. They thought reliable independant motorised transport was all a lad could want. Had to hide it at school behind the bike sheds, as the lads with modified FS1E's and stuff weren't very kind to me or my Honda. Swapped it after three months for a slower, less reliable, older, DT50 that I much prefered.

ah yes, but as the advert said - you meet the nicest people on a honda!
I bet that went down well with the girlies behind the bike sheds.

oooh, the Honda Express. My mates mum had one and we used to rag it round the park until it ran out of petrol. The petrol station wouldn't sell us any more petrol as we weren't 16 but we discovered that you spin the burner off one of those very small camping gaz stoves and it would screw directly onto the fuel tap (once you took the reserve pipe off). We then ragged it round the park until the police came and spoiled our fun. 2T oil? What's that....

Nothing wrong with a Honda Express. I got to borrow my Mum's whenever my DT/AR/LC had something wrong with it. 28mph all day, 80mpg, bulletproof. Too easy to flip though... Embarassed
