hi another silly quistion is the 1kt jap import restricted in any way ?

think I read somewhere that it has something to do with the cdi !
if it doe's can i just put a 2ma cdi on or is there something else to be done ?

The 1kt has a different curve in the CDI to the 2MA and very different connections. I don't know if you can just swap the CDI or whether you'd need to swap the stator plate too.

overall i don't there is enough of a difference to worry about (unless you are racing), my last 1kt pulled to the redline in top (on closed roads obviously Wink ) which was an indicated 110 ish. I don't remember my previous 2MA being any quicker.
