Cleaned up a replacement tank to go with the repainted headlight fairing.. Its got a few scratches and dings but solid and doesn't leak like the other one Smile

Look to do up some side panels next..

Has it got twin fuel taps? Or is one blanked off? Seems strange seeing two outlets

Yes it does look odd doesn't it.. All the AR125s are the same.
One hole is the fuel tap, the other is the fuel level sensor. They don't have a fuel gauge, just a warning light that comes on and gets brighter as you get low on fuel. The original fuel tap still has a reserve too - so best of both worlds really Surprised)

Hmmmm... You don't have to get the screwdriver out to fill up the 2T tank.. Its got a centre stand and not just a 'trick' self returning side stand? Oh and it's big enough for two people ? Rolling Eyes Cool

Its A TEAM Transformation time...

Ok Hannibal, Sorted leaking Tank, found a new seat, fitted refurbished side panels and front mudguard... It's coming along nicely Murdock..

Refurbished side panels make a big difference..

Seat off eBay, cost all of ten pounds and its immaculate - good times !

Refurbished front mudguard

Its good when a plan comes together ...
Tail fairing needs some work to sort out though.
One for next week fool - as its Stafford Show Sunday so Decs AR on hold

Repairs completed and couple coats plastic filler primer.
Needs top coats, decals and holes drilling for inner handrail bolts.
Not perfect, but then its only going to be a learner 125 ...probably thrashed to within an inch of its life on every trip to the shops.. Just as the 1980's intended Surprised)
