Hi,
I was wondering if anyone was using his/her GAG bike for track days. In Spain pit bike supermoto is quite popular and there are also quite a few people riding the Metrakit Mini 2-strokers (even a couple NSR 50!!) in kart circuits. Is there something similar here in the UK? Searching on-line I haven't found much info, only a bunch of places that rent minimotos for stag weekends. Thanks |

Don't know about Gag racing but through my contacts racing AR50s this new race series is proving popular. I'm sure they would like to see a few Team Calamari YSR50s

Some of the Monkey bike people do regular track sessions I think, there were a lot of posts about it on the old GagBikeUK forum (which is now dead). Guessing they've moved to MonkeyRun and PitBikeClub now ?
I did the lunchtime parade laps on my RB50 at Cadwell in 2013. There was a YSR80 on track too, plus Fizzies etc.

I would be to scared to put mine on a track. Knowing my look i would trash it on the first corner. |

Thats why i say purely for fun, i dont think any of us are brave/stupid enough to go balls out on a tiny bike! Especially if its tuned!
Although knowing myself i might get carried away _________________ Gagging for it |

Trackday parade laps are very sedate. Unless you're on one of these - I was flat out for most of it and chin on the tank racing the Fizzy on the back straight. |

Angmering Motorsport Centre in Littlehampton would take your money and let you ride the kart track I'm sure.... |

We might have to get as many gags together as possible and organise a parade lap somewhere, no racing of course! But be nice to get a photo with 10 or so gags on the start line! _________________ Gagging for it |

Thanks to everyone for all the comments and suggestions. I was watching some NSR 50/NSF 100 racing videos the other day and got me thinking if this is something I could do every few weekends. I guess it is not as easy as it sounds, given track and spare parts availability. Probably much easier to do with the 2004 NSR 50 in the US and 2009 NSF100 in Europe |

As hard as it might be, i still think it would make a great day out for all the gags, maybe not every couple of weeks!
If only the gag forum were alive we would have more chance of guaging interest obvioysly need quite a few definates _________________ Gagging for it |
