Welcome ! Thanks for posting. Clap

AR looks pretty special already. Pretty sure you have some AR125 experts and parts-hoarders not that far away from you... Wink

Welcome on board and great little B2 you have there (unless you tell me its an A3..)

It would be fantastic to see another AR owner out and about. We had four ARs turn up to a very wet CMC two stroke day and we are always looking for an excuse to do something worthwhile like this....

Bet you thought it was a cool very rare bike? Common as muck round your parts.. But still .. UBER COOL.. Haha

Welcome to the site Fazey,

Lovely Ar125 you have there. Better than TS's???? Twisted Evil

Ho, ho, ho.

Was down your way last week, camping at Blackwell. Did the Monsal trail (on a pushbike obviously!) & went to the Bakewell show. Beautiful part of the country you live in.

All the best

its pretty sweet looking but its gonna get better.
thinking lots of green and black Very Happy

Great stuff Pete,

Make no mistake your gorgeous little AR is a rare bike. I was only being mischievous saying its common because in your local area (circa 25 mile radius) I know of at least five owners with AR125s. The closest B2 being a lad in Hasland near Chesterfield Smile

If you PM me the frame number and engine number I will tell you the exact model and likely match up. Its painted as a likely A1, A1A with AG engine but they didn't come with a belly pan as standard so if your frame has the original fixings for the belly pan then its more likely a B2.

You hardly ever see a AR125 on the road nowadays.. Two AR125s together is so rare its tantamount to a an AR Owners club meeting Smile

I have lots of pictures and will post a few examples of green biased bikes for you to think about when I get chance.

I'm hoping another AR chip shop run is now on the cards and it would be fantastic to have you along Smile

Cheers
Shaun

Heres yours in White, this is A1, A1A model

This is the B2 in Chesterfield in original colours

Here are a few green ones... I have loads of AR50/80 green bikes but not many 125s.. Form now here's a few tasters Mk1 and Mk2

Ok this next one is white.. But I'm sure you get the drift..

frame No ar125ag002988
engine no ar125b-001691

spare engine ar125ag006297

chip shop run sound good but will have to be quickish will be looking to pull apart very soon.
want to get the engine sorted think if i remember right the very slow to rev upto about 4000revs means the crank case seal are shot but might be wrong.
been a while since i had a stroker.
maybe it would be best to let you hear her first before i start anything.
want to do the engine myself but doubt i have the knowledge but willing to try.
might go up to cmc this weekend and have a stroll over to clay cross kawasaki.
very helpful guys there.

Hmmm mixed results, that's interesting
You seem to have frame and engine mixed up...

Frame ar125b-001691 is B2 1985/6

Engine ar125ag002988 is B2 and highly likely match to frame Smile

Spare engine ar125ag006297 is B5 1988/9

If your going to CMC and CX Kawasaki on the AR125 at the weekend.. Then please let me know and I may just come a run down on one of mine and see you there!

We could do the chip shop run at the same time by visiting Bikers View on the way to chesterfield, that could count ?

Last time I was at CX Kawasaki, I saw a gorgeous H2R and couldn't resist overshadowing it by sticking my AR in the way..haha
