What piston did you use?
How's the pump set up
May want to take the exhaust off and check the piston through the exhaust
And temp and fuel

how many miles has it done since the rebuild?
just wondering as i almost seized a kh125 after 10 miles after a new piston/rings

jetting, plug ect..
any anomalys l
also take the exhaust off and you can inspect the piston and how oily is the combustion chamber and exhaust

also going to sound dumb here but fuel starvation if its running premixed cause somthing like that?

Hi Fazey,

do you mind me asking where did you get the headlamp from, as I reckon it really suits the bike and I like the clean lines created by the lack of the nose fairing?

Also, are the clocks standard or from a different bike, as the look quite different from those fitted to mine?

Congratulations on your award at CMC.

Hi reggie
The headlight is off eBay. There is loads on there. You need a 7 inch one to match the fork width. You will also need to buy the headlight brackets. Don't buy them to short you will struggle with the wiring.
The clocks are standard they are the earlier model clocks. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the nice comments.

Hi Fazey,

do you have an E-bay link for the supplier of the headlamp and (more importantly) the headlamp brackets?

Regards

Reggie

Oh that's really not good..unlucky!

I've got one of mine next to a radiator and has been like that more than a year and thankfully it's not attracted that same problem.

Looks unusual too like the shape of a round sticker or something that was on the tank before sprayed? Glue residue reacting under the paint? I'm sure a paint expert on here will know better than me what the cause is...

Boooooooo

His Howie. No idea because the tank was like that when bought.
But I suspect it may have now.
