I have a original Nikon and that peaked at 11000. So not much difference.

Thing is most of the aftermarket exhausts won't go much beyond what the standard engine was capable of as that's what they will have been based on.

The micron for example was designed for the B model and stinger length needs reducing slightly for A model to get most from it.

Is the bike pulling peak revs in top gear? As you may be better going for torque and better gearing?

I always remember a shoot out between the Honda MBX, AR125 and RD125LC in a 80s magazine, all unrestricted bikes. The AR and RD had 22hp, the MBX 18hp.... And yet the MBX was the fastest top speed simply because it pulled its gearing better. I have the mag somewhere ..
