Waiting for or getting the wrong parts are what causes most issues. Some traders are not fit for purpose. Most times i have dealt with mainland European dealers, all as gone well, with the exception of Italian dealers.
Had quite a bit of hassle with Italian suppliers. There is no such thing as a specified time frame there. Confused

Yeah i had the same problem with my Ducati this year . I have been unable to use it since the back end of June as i have been waiting for a new electronic throttle sensor to arrive . it turned up the second week in september.

IT LIVES!!!!!!!!
well after another few months of waiting for bits and bobs to arrive .I can at last say that i have managed a ride of nearly 2 miles without the engine seizing up.
I have found that the front brake pulses so i ordered a second hand disc which is slightly better but still not good enough ,so that is going back to the seller and my original disc has gone to hopefully be straightened out.

Well i have the original disc back from straightening up now . Fitted it and hey presto .No pulsing lever . Plus i have managed another 10 miles of riding without seizing the engine.
If the weather plays ball tomorrow ,i am going to risk a run out to Sherburn in elmet .
