Well, I don't get many chances to name-drop Embarassed so I'll take this one...

4-times World Champion and close personal friend Wink Kork Ballington has made a little video of himself, talking about his old square-four GP bike then firing it up and riding up the street. Cool

He just sent me a link to it on YouTube. It's 7 minutes long - turn your speakers up !

Here's the bike, parked in his dining room alongside his KR250 and some of his trophies :

Excelent vid! Doesn't the 500 make the 250 look huge!

Never saw the KR500 on the track but do recall making the Tamiya kit!

That's the first time I've ever been on You Tube, and it's fantastic!

KB's just got to do the 250 as well. Come on Tim, use your influence. Wink

That KR500 was much quieter than I was expecting... Crybaby

I was gonna have a word with you Chris but the only time I saw you, you were busy taking photos. Sad

Kork emailed me another link last night. It shows him thrashing his KR500 round a little track. Stop playback before 1:48 if you're squeamish - he has a nasty accident and doesn't move for quite a while afterwards... Confused

YouTube link.

Seriously, that is really cool and I want one. As far as I know, they only made these kits for the NSR and RGV500's, so some Japanese superfan has customised that in honour of his hero. Not Worthy
