just rescued this off the streets of London Very Happy

GSX250SSM Katana - 77000kms - ex-despatch bike which lived (uncovered) on the pavement outside the owners gaff. One previous owner was a peace activist who was shot & killed by Israeli troops in Gaza - he had left it in the care of a bike shop in Camden, from where the last owner purchased it.
How the exhaust remains attached to the bike defies the laws of physics Shocked
It's a long-term project - although I am already looking at a pair of usd forks and a monshock rear conversion Exclamation

Nice one, erm, KatSter55 ! Wink

The 400 is a much better copy of the original big 'uns but I must admit I prefer the 3-spoke wheels and stubby 4-1 on the 250... Wink

the 250's are quite rare in the UK - I know of 4 others (1 being my ex- bike). There are quite a few 400's scattered around the UK and a few appearing on evil-bay quite regularly. Japan is awash with them.
I waited a long time to buy the one I've got (I know the previous owner and had 1st refusal on it). The stainless exhaust is off a 400 Impulse, but the standard 4-2 came with the bike.
This lot arrived for the 250 from Japan t'other day Very Happy

time to get busy in the garage............... Wink
