well after selling my mito over a yr back ive played with some 4 strokes, a monkey bike, hyosung gtr125 and a zxr750

by some strange chance ive actually ended up with my old mito back!
been abused very badly by some people after it left me Evil or Very Mad

currently needs a left hand bar as its bent, swingarm has a crack in it,fork seals gone and its been repainted in some kinda tango colour Shocked

so time to tidy up,started with the expansion chamber and can today, carb has been stripped and cleened and i took it for a small ride up the rd to see if there was anything else

going to be repainting again, not sure wether to mint up to standard spec or have a good play with a pipe and a nice paint job?

heres some bad qaulity phone pics as my cameras done a runner

Yep decent mk1 and mk2 parts are pretty hard to come by, ive been after a fairing set with the vents in (like yours Wink ) for months without luck, all ive found is chancers on ebay wanting £60 a panel!! Noting wrong with the unvented set i have apart from paint but im a fussy bugger and want the vented ones.
Im looking into ducati forks for it as the standard ones are shit with bugger all adjustament and belive it or not the ducati forks are lighter Smile Only thing with them is im told they raise the front by 2 inches which isnt what i want as i dont wanna upset the geomentry so will have to look into it a little further.

seen him on the 125 forum
also seen him selling bits on ebay at nice prices!

frame is half prepped now, still about another 5-6hrs of prep
as soon as ive started 1st stage of polishing i,ll post pics up

also had a look at the engine tonight, not the same one as what was in it when i sold it,shame because i,d seen 100 on the clocks with that engine Sad

the one in now has a gilardoni 2 barrel(60433) with flat piston and single ring
may go for a new piston and ring(s) by wiseco before it gets put back in

rolling chassis to finish 1st tho

Ive already been twisting collywog19's arm on selling some of his SP parts, you'd need to offer him your wife for a year for him to consider selling Smile
I see some SP fork internals go for around £100 about a year ago on the bay, wish id snapped them up as i havent seen anything else yet, RGV,RS 250 shocks will fit and also nitron do a shock for the mito. Honda RS 250 forks fit with little mods but there ££££.
Im hoping i can sort out the ride height issue with the ducati forks i have, there lighter than standard and still use the mito wheel, disc and caliper.

With regards to you getting a new piston, are you sticking with 1 ring or going for 2? im told 1 ring is better for power and 2 ring for reliabilty, obviously i know jack shit about 2 strokes Smile

all depends how busy i am at work
