I registered a while ago and thought I'd say hello but some of you will probably recognise my name from other places Very Happy

After a couple of years waiting for the right thing to come along, I bought this-

It's a 1986, C-reg, TZR250 1KT and my boyfriend despairs of me Laughing I had a nice potter over to Cheshire to pick it up on a sunny Sunday morning a couple of months ago. Most of the important stuff seems to be there (I mean the stuff that makes the engine run). I've sold most of the standard bits that won't be needed (I only really wanted the frame and engine Wink ) and I'm starting to build up a pile of stuff I'm hoping to use on the bike. I'm aiming for a period TZ250 replica I think, so I've got some 41mm TRX850 forks and yokes and a braced FZR400 swingarm to start with. I don't know I'f I'm going to use three spoke Yamaha wheels or Cagiva Mito 6 spoke ones yet Confused

So, that's it really. Nice to say hello on another two stroke forum Very Happy

Accident Question

Yeah, I had a bump/spill about a week ago on my way to college Sad My right thumb is really sore and I can't do much, it's a good job it's half term as I'd be missing another week of college otherwise. Still, I'm looking forward to making a start on the TZR Very Happy

Whooaa!!! Shocked ShockedShockedShocked God alive! If that's the "right thing" Kayla, I'd hate to see a wrong un!! Laughing

Fair play to you though - as I've said on other 'project' threads, I take my hat off to anyone who tackles this sorta stuff . . . . I just hope it wasn't advertised as a minter!! Very Happy

Look forward to seeing the build Smile
