Barton Bike Night, July 2015
Strange event this one. It's an annual thing where the sleepy town of Barton Upon Humber is taken over by 20,000 bikers for one Wednesday night every July. No-one's quite sure why, but it's been happening for years and the local residents seem to embrace it. The parking and the queues used to be a nightmare though that's improved quite a bit since they stopped charging bikes to cross the Humber Bridge.
Amongst the endless rows of identical R1's and CBR125's you'll always find a sprinkling of cool older stuff, and the scooter boys make sure there are clouds of blue smoke. We think we saw a 3MA-SP on the way in though we couldn't track it down. There's a few poor-quality phone snaps of our favourites below though.
