Just thought I would introduce myself, I live in Nottingham and have not had a two stroke for years. However all is about to change as I have managed to locate a 14000km bike not long imported from Japan which is almost ready. I'm hoping to go and see it next week and close the deal. I will post some pictures when I get it home.
Anyone else got one of these? |

A ride out sounds good to me. I have just been down to Reading today and paid for the bike which should be delivered in the next week to ten days after being MOT'd and registered. The dealer has given it a full service and carb strip down and it sounds really crisp, I had forgotten how great these things sound. Turns out this is number 207 off the production line in 1984. Can't wait to go for a blast! |

More or less. Alloy frame instead of steel, different paintjob, probably other details too. An expert will no doubt be along shortly to list these... |

there are a far few differences really . forks suspension set up carbs some ignition parts paint the frame still the same motor but the RZV is way way low on power compared to the UK RD500 . I have an RZV and id kick its ass on my valve special . of course it doesn't take a lot to derestrict them I understand _________________ www.rdlccrazy.co.uk. Home of The Onr Stop LC Shop |

Hi, I have one and have de restricted it.
They are quite slow as std. 63bhp I think.
The pipes have reducing tubes inside the headers
and the carbs have smaller jets and needles.
Goes like stink now!
I would post a pic but having trouble doing it.

Hi mate, I just ordered 4 Keyster carb kits for the UK 500LC.
From memory the mains are 165 up from 145.
The needle jet and emulsion tube are different too.
Have a search on www.rzrd.com for the precise sizes.
Cheers Mike. |
