Did a bit of work on my long suffering Kr1s

[img][/img]

It has taken 2 & a half looms to get it to here, never buy old used looms, £30 would buy me all the wire & connectors I could possibly need?!?

However, I now have a electrical system where the PV motor turns & a spark Party

I intend to build my own loom once I'm happy the motor is sound hence the mess you see on the bike.
It currently has my ZXR400 forks on it, it has had Kr1 forks, ZXR250 forks but if i'm honest, I think it looks better with Kr1s forks.
I'm now thinking keep it as Kawasaki intended but with subtle changes No Idea

I know what you're saying fella,

But when you look at what Luders has done (especially with the x 09 tribute) its hard not to want a bike that looks like that.

Unfortunately I'm someone who can fix anything but not someone who can engineer anything Crying or Very sad

Its like the engineering arlurt is doing to his Kh, brilliant but alas, I simply do not have the skill, damn my feeble brain Bang Head

Q music...."there may be trouble ahead...."

Today have Dec's AR in bits again..

Engine blown he said, how did you do that then I asked...
Oh, I got it up to 85 down xxxxx (ahem a 40mph road... First mistake, being too honest got him a kick up the arse) and he continued.. when I came into the estate I changed down rather than up.. It went pop and sounded poorly...

Second mistake, another kick !!

Lucky the crank seems fine so top end rebuild it is, then I will check how its running. Kids eh, who'd have em...

So the life lesson here seems to be to deny everything…?

Maybe if you get him involved in the repairs he’ll see why you can sometimes get a kick, even when you’re being honest.

Sound like you’ve both been lucky anyway, hope there’s nothing too serious to sort out.

Ha ha ha, bless him,

I would never do anything like that when I was younger & I bet you wouldn't either TS Laughing

But you do right sir, even if you do have a sneaky admiration for him.

I dread the day one of my girls says she wants a bike Old Man

I just sat my eldest daughter on the back of my Kr1 to see if she's 'long' enough now to reach the pillion pegs, she is.

Then told her we can't go out for a ride because 'daddy' is too hung over from the village safari supper we did last night Drunk

Blurgh, may have to be hair of the dog later Puke
