Just thought id share some pics with you all,
I recently had my tank repaired, the guy is local to me and keeps himself to himself but his job is making this stuff by hand as commissioned, no machinery at all, and alot by eye!
He cut the bottom corner out of my tank then made a new section and welded it back in! Ill get photos of the tank up soon too!

Lovely, highly skilled English wheel and other techniques (think I can see the rig in the background) _________________ If it don't ring-a-ding-ding it ain't worth a thing |

He charged my £100 to do my tank and i thought that was fair, he said he is happy to do more if anyone needs work doing but prices will be on assessment _________________ Gagging for it |

Hmmm.. I wonder if he can make an alloy fuel tank based on the original Kawasaki race team AR125R design? I may have a GRP version very soon, but would really really like an alloy tank in the same design..? _________________ We are where we are... |

Hey Shaun,
any chance of you posting an image of the AR125R tank, so we can decide if it'd work for dads project? If so, and the chap was interested, we could order at least a pair? _________________ Kindest regards

He can definately make it, not sure how we would go about a pattern? I will ask the question though and see if we can get an idea on price _________________ Gagging for it |
