Welcome Doug..
Of course I've seen the KR250 pics and it's looking a smasher
So please share your AR build pics in due course...

Well she's home and tucked up in the naughty corner awaiting her turn, I will post some pics at the weekend, a quick look over, needs new front disc, forks need rechrome or replacing at the mo that's the only major stuff I can see, I'm sure there will be more as I want to do a floor up rebuild including the engine, but on the plus side I didn't notice on Sunday it has a stainless or dull chrome micron exhaust oh happy days. _________________ Two Smokey and they bandit |

Well pulled the tidler out in the sun, to have a good look round, looks like the engine has been stripped and rebuilt in recent years, bearing in mind it's been stood for 13-14 years last ved was due in 1997. I thought what the hell I did say I wouldn't touch it till KR was done but I couldn't resist kicking it over to see what sounded like, fired up on 3rd kick, sounds sweet as a nut no piston slap or rumbles from the bottom end, revs up cleanly and sounds great. Still gonna strip the engine, just to see what state of tune its in, I have a couple of flat slide minukis left over from the KR build, hum, could be intresting. _________________ Two Smokey and they bandit |

You really couldn't help yourself ...haha
Sounds like you have a good one and it's all there which is a big bonus now parts are getting rare.
As you already know the unrestricted disk valve is almost identical on the AR and KR. Be interesting to see it detestricted and running on the KR carb..
