Love the graffiti pictures
Fitted different downpipe and internally modified LC pipe ... more tucked in and quieter for regular use

Great pics lads.. I love the graffiti too.. I think the MZ would fit the part perfectly
Funny but the council round me must spend a fortune on graffiti .. it's not as good as that..
Apparently round our way it's by the renowned artist 'Wanksy'
Dobbers and balls everywhere ..lol _________________ We are where we are... |

Aside form progressing on the RG250, I got the new wheels & tires ready to go on the NS400R. picked up a nice original set of wheels from Japan (mine had been painted and had the rims polished.
put new bearings and seals in
just have to mount the new brake rotors and pick up a steering stem stand to make the front wheel change easier, cant use a front fork stand on the NS as there are bottom caps on the forks to come off. its either that or take off the exhaust and jack up the frame underneath....we'll see.
Batteries are charged for the FZR400 and the RZ350
too bad we just got hammered with an Ice storm (1" of freezing rain = ice) and snow storm 25cm. will all melt again in a few days, but what a mess it makes. riding will have to wait a few more weeks yet. _________________ 2014 Honda VFR800

Dug Edna out of the old shed, pumped her tyres up, threw a bucket of water over her and made some numberboards out of pound-shop white vinyl. Ready for the moped rac... I mean parade at Cadwell on Saturday.

Errm ... had the battery jump from its mountings and drop between rear tyre and swinging arm causing a complete unexpected lock up on way home from work ... so that was nice ..... but fortunately at only 40mph. Fixed the harness and various other damage tonight .. fortunately only machinery damage could have been nasty! _________________ If it don't ring-a-ding-ding it ain't worth a thing |

I went back there last weekend with another bike only to find they've put up 8-foot security fencing and you can't get anywhere near it now. |

Annoying about the graffiti wall, if you like that that sort of thing here is my Brando leather (particularly appropriate for the Monkey bike) ....

|
|
i had to collect my bike from the tuners as he is moving premises this week .
the bike would not rev out after fitting the 80cc engine .We suspected either crap in the old carb or an electrical problem . so i got a new carb , waited 6 weeks for the inlet manifold to arrive from france , only to find the carb will not fit without removing the oil pump which i do not want to do.
So i went down the electrical route and fit a cf posh super battle cdi ,with nsr50 stator / flywheel and adjustable stator mounting plate and i am pleased to say that after much swearing and figuring out of where the wires go to on the cdi .. It revs around to 11000 .
So i managed my first ride on the road today .. just a quick ride down the village to make sure it revs out on the road ,which it does . i need to get the fuelling sorted out now as it does bugger all from low revs then goes like a bugger at the top end .which reminds me i need to order a new rear sprocket as the bike is still running the 50cc standard rear. |

Today was the day to Run the RG250 and the FZR400 since they hadnt been run in a few weeks, so....
I went to start the RG...nada, not even a fart.
after kicking my life away I decided to check for spark --- none
After an hour of f'n and farting around, fiddling with wires, kick it over, flicking switches, kick it over, in gear, out of gear, kick stand up, kick stand down, key on , key off, ...get off the bike turn around 3 times, swear, get back on the bike, kick it over.... I decided to take a breath and start again. so....I popped up the kick stand turned the key On, Neutral light came ON, pulled the clutch lever, kicked it once and, It fired up and ran like it had been running all day long, I rolled it 8 ft and turned it towards the garage door and it quit --- no spark. A bad connection, bad ground or a bad switch some place i'd guess (?)
so I roll it back into its place and set it back on the side stand.....except ......the side stand wasnt down
but the RG went down pretty fast, then I went down, I went onto the FZR, and the FZR started to go over, pivoted on its side stand, front wheel came up, and just before it toppled over onto the RZ350...it came back down.
I lifted the RG back up expecting the worst, but... no scratches, no cracks, just a slight bend in the front signal stay....which i bent back.
What a clown I am. Now my back is messed up again, its been bad all week and was just on the mend.
On the up side, the FZR is now running like a champ, my fuel issues are resolved. Now I have to sleuth a bad connection on the RG. I hate electrical....im not good at it. _________________ 2014 Honda VFR800
