I spotted this beauty for sale at a show last weekend. Being that it was the first one I have ever seen in person (they are very rare in the US), I bought it!

Mostly original, and in pretty good condition. What a hoot to ride! It joins the stable with a 1988 TZR250 2ME, and a 1988 RG250 Gamma Mk3.

Now I just need an NSR..... Very Happy

That looks stunning, and definately a good buy. Whats not original, cos I can't spot anything obvious?? very rare to find one with some undamaged exhausts as well. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Is it just the angle of the photography? The Ar looks physically bigger than the Kr-1R.

Sean, I think you need to collect the Kr series though.........

Thanks Mr Howie... problem is I think the Wifey would kill me. . She doesn't know how many bikes I have as it is thankfully Wink

The AR is quite large for a 125 but it must be angle cos it's not bigger than the KR. .Erm I don't think .. bugger wil have to measure to check. Certainly doesn't feel as big to ride Very Happy

I saw on the KR-1S forum a thread about a hard tail cover that a fellow in N.Ireland named Davey was making for sale. That forum is very hard to use and won't let me send PM's. Anybody know Davey and how to contact him?

I am also interested in any NOS or minty clean parts fore sale for the KR-1B I just bought. In particular, I would like to find a stock exhaust with the black chrome all intact (impossible?), and a windscreen and any body panels.

Thanks!!!!
Tim
