Only joking Ar fans.
If anyone was watching this on ebay & wondered who bought it......
Yep it were me wot done it
It has a Tzr125 fairing, fairing brace was welded to the headstock
Have another pic

Notice the spark plug, this plug has never seen fuel/oil, clean as the day it was put in.
Barrel has been brazed welded at some point.
Here's another pic
[img][/img]
Don't see any problems here
Strangely enough, most of the bolts that hold the niceties on have snapped, every bolt that holds the essentials on has come undone & out with no probs
How's about another pic
[img][/img]
Yep, hey ho
Ok, I seem to have fallen for the charms of this bike (it does have a spark, compression a little low at 110psi but the fella who sold it to me did say it ran?! And i believe him, lovely bloke, has an absolutely pristeen CBX1000 un restored )
The problem I have is what to do with it.......so for the first time in ages....... a poll |

It's not really just an AR its a very special one previously owned by the Lock Ness swamp thing..
Fantastic Mr H...you finally secummed to the AR fraternity..
Brilliant just brilliant...please just get it running and use it as it is.. you can always sell the wheels for a profit if you ever get fed up of its warm rusty orange glow
Hey you missed a Poll Suggestion - it should be on a future D'S stand in all its patina of corrosion, dust and cobwebs - make a fantastic talking point

It's a good idea. Your barn-find AP50 got more attention than everything else put together. Won't fit the theme this year though. |

I've gone for chucking the whole thing in a skip..............
But under all that rust & neglect, the Ar is pretty solid. Now I know it has been kept in different garages for the past 11 years (the length of time the previous owner has owned it) & it hasn't been on the road since '98 but it's little things like most of the fasteners are original Kawasaki, it doesn't have any blingtastic parts at all, it doesn't look like the crankcases have ever been apart, mind you with all the muck & oil, it is hard to tell
It didn't come with a V5 but did come with all numbers intact & two old tax discs clearly showing the reg. no. & a quick look on the DVLA website indicates this should be blue, did they come in blue? Any Ar experts out there?
So maybe it is too good for the skip? Maybe an early TZ125 fairing would look good?
Maybe restoring or at least cleaning up & riding as is?
I am open to suggestions people |

Blue AR... Yes and they are pretty rare. UK model was B4 restricted and A5 full power.
Do you know which one? _________________ We are where we are... |

Rat-bike. Make it rideable and safe, but keep it in the same skanky cosmetic condition it's already in. So it looks like it lives at the bottom of the sea, but actually has an MOT and rides fine. |
