Yeah, that's right, like a CR500 ain't scary enough !
Just something I spotted on FB earlier. A US company offering a kit to make a 1000cc parallel twin from 2 CR500 motors. It's aimed at Quad, ATV and Snowmobile racers, as you've probably guessed. Someone said it utilises a YPVS350 bottom end, like the Cheetah kits designed for a Banshee (which is basically a YPVS350 minus the powervalves anyway). Hard to tell from the bloody awful website to be honest, it looks like something from the early 90's and tells you precisely nothing.
Anyway, someone do it and then post the photos on here, from hospital if necessary. |

Too right . Could it really use the RZ350 bottom end though - is there enough room for a 79mm stroke crankshaft??
