That's a clever piece of engineering Andy, where did you get it?
And I don't mean the SDR (although that is gorgeous )
Also, why didn't you just put it in the back of the Ducato? |

Not quite today but met a pal on the East Anglian C90 club last weekend and invited along on the MZ included 4.5 hours riding including - er - off road sections on bye-ways and sand tracks ... all with clip-ons and rear sets. seemed rude not to.
Checking the MZ over as a precaution! _________________ If it don't ring-a-ding-ding it ain't worth a thing |

I took the wife's 250 Hornet for its MOT on Saturday. It passed. It's done 64kms in the last 12 months... |

Ride out last night to a couple of local bike meets, following my mate on his gravel-spewing supermoto...

Bugger. I'd like to think the standard bike has the same lights, and therefore an easy used buy for replacement. _________________ www.taffmoto.co.uk for your replacement fairing panels |

The good news is that it does indeed use the same headlamps as the 750J/K/L models. There are variations regarding foreign markets of course.
Bad news is that they're no longer available new from Suzuki, in the UK, Europe or even on back order from Japan. Discontinued part, and not yet part of their Classic Parts programme. So used ones are in demand.
Crooks Suzuki had one NOS one left on a dusty shelf, so it's on its way to me now. |

Got the MZ through another MOT (just) given the minimal lighting arrangement. Re packed the silencer given it was 105DB at cadwell and only just passed (difficult to believe to be honest) ... and I need to get to 102 for Snetterton soon.
Felt sorry for the guy at Cadders that spent loads of time trying to get his TZ125 below limits. It can only get worse I guess. Unfortunately I was travelling light that weekend and couldn't help with "bits and bobs". _________________ If it don't ring-a-ding-ding it ain't worth a thing |

I'd let the LC MOT expire as I was busy with other stuff. Couldn't resist it any longer though, so fixed the dodgy horns (they're a black art aren't they ?) and took it in this morning. There's a tiny weep from one of the fuel pipes (last owner fitted inline filters) but he sold me some new pipe and then passed it - common sense approach 'cos he knows I'll fix it.

I caught up with a modified Lambretta in traffic, it appeared to have an Allspeed too and if anything it sounded even better than the LC ! We had a mutual 2-stroke love-in for a few seconds then went our separate ways. |

Cool little bike, I would think it is alot of fun pottering about.
I would advise against the free flowing scarf like the guy in the pictures |
