I love it, has a 20's feel but without the mech unreliability! Can ride it for hours ... but not quickly!

Took today off work, planned to do some jobs on the GSX-R and LC and then take one or the other out for a spin. Shame I picked the wettest day of the year. Got the broken headlight swapped, then couldn't face the weather any more. Either I work outside, or I push half a dozen bikes out into the rain and work in the dry.

Strokerboy, I see you are a postbox enthusiast Very Happy

There are a load of old Victorian post boxes over here - still complete with royal coat of arms and cipher of queen Victoria - just painted green now.

This hexagonal baby is one of six of this type in the republic of Ireland.

the bomb site in the background was once the 18 century royal hotel in new ross, demolished after a fire in 2010 unfortunately.

Took a day off work yesterday, rode down to Cadwell on my 750RK. Speedo cable snapped on the way, but that just means the 180kph limiter doesn't kick in. Laughing

What a day. A paddock full of priceless race exotica and their superstar riders. Difficult to see how they could ever better this, if they decide to do it again. And they're planning to. Cool

Managed a quick squirt today on all 3 of our bikes that are currently taxed and MOT'd : 750RK, 350LC and my wife's 250 Hornet. Mr Plod set a little trap for me on the LC, but although I was making a bit of noise, I doubt I was actually speeding and he lost interest. Laughing

Spent 2 hours struggling to control a 600cc aircooled 2-stroke twin. Now have a huge migraine and the shakes. Any guesses?

You should do, very perceptive.

We did a tour of Berlin, self-drive in a Trabant, whilst an angry East German barked instructions at us via a one-way radio set to 11. I'm pleased we did it, and I'm also pleased I didn't fall in love with the hateful contraption. My missus still wants one though... Crying or Very sad
