Only just noticed the 40 mile trip with the wife on the back... just brilliant
Had the wife on the back of my AR125 but never tried tandem on the AR80, I really didn't think their was enough room. Ahem but I do have a rather fat .... not the wife she's tiny
I also have a couple of the Jap screwdrivers and agree they are really good for casings and covers.
Got me thinking about 2 stroke oil now too... I may just try the test in a clear bottle. I don't regularly mix oils but the eldest lad sticks almost anything in his AR (just like we did in the early 80s) _________________ We are where we are... |

I wouldn't recommend two up if you are in a hurry, or live in a hilly area
Do we remember this? Two years from the last update
The black one is going great. always fun zipping around on it.
Picking up parts for a ZXR 750h2 (also black and red)
No I didn't get them in Tesco
It could do with a new rear shock, and a rebore, but is still fine for tipping about.
I got some paid employment, Maintenance in an injection molding factory.
All sorts of machines, robots and contraptions - perfect for me but it takes up most of my time and energy.
It does mean I can now afford luxuries such as tyres and mortgage payments
So I have been working at this over Christmas - the white one.
The frame is painted, got the back wheel painted and also the swingarm.
Most of the other parts were painted a few years ago.
It was time to stick it together before it got lost to time as boxes of bits.
Hope to keep at it now,
I read somewhere and have to agree - unless you are after total perfection..
"if something is worth doing it is worth doing badly" even a half assed job is better than not starting.
