Can anybody tell me if the NS400 engine numbers should match, as most Yamaha's seem to? Found an original Rothmans which is very expensive, but seller is willing to do a good deal. Dont know a great deal about them, so any obvious questions I should be also asking? Embarassed

Numbers don't match. Check gearbox selects properly before parting with cash. Expensive to fix and parts nla.
