Its because of the 'special' exposed piston with the 'special' serrated machined top
Its nothing thats come out the Yam factory.
The jap foreword (just visable) would suggest some Jap tuner has made his mark on the engine after giving it the 'works' |

You can still buy the pistons new, usually at auto jumbles...
