Greetings all, I presume its customary to get the drink in so what you having ?

I was sent over this way from Ali (abrmoto) who said you guys are on my wavelength.

So for the ones who dont know me from other forums allow me to introduce myself.

My names paul, and i live just round the corner from maxton engineering in cheshire. I am a 37 year old network admin specialising in security and messaging systems. I have an assortment of bikes which i have collected (hoarded) over the years and i stick with the ones i like the most. Currently i have,

1986 D plate YSR80, bought as a rusted wreck a few years back, been sat in a field for years rotting away. plastics were unmarked and original, frame was a mess, motor was solid. now restored and house ornament. its wery original down to the cleaned up and recycled nuts and bolts.

2001 X plate KSR80, bought as i wanted the last of the strokers and not the 110 slug. havnt used it much after SVA but it really is a totaly useable bike (far more than the YSR). it looks great and goes very well, but again its taken root in my front room and will be sold soon.

1989 NC30, owned it for years and will soon be sold to make soome room for the -

1993 K plate UK NC30, bought recently and is sweet. lovely bike to ride and a mighty fine example which is a deffo keeper. I love the NC30 it reminds me so much of my next bike.

1990 G plate Honda RC30 - yeah sorry i got one of these too, and i actually use it too. Owned it for a while and its a dream come true. pics will follow in the appropriate place when i feel you can accept me to do some willy waving.

1994 Ducati 916, owned it for years and again i use it too. superb bike to ride and great fun.

2006 Honda CBR600RR5 - complete rubbish, worst bike i have ever ridden / owned. quality is shocking and is about as exciting to ride and a dyson. Sure its fast up top, but has no midrange, rubbish on fuel, and sounds like a duck farting through the standard pipe. Sadly its financed to death, and while only 7 months old and 6000 miles, its not worth a carrot and i cant lose much more money if i sell now or in 2 years with 20k on the clock - so it will be stopping put unless someone wants to swop for something of use.

Bikes owed, well loads of strokers, LC's TZR250's inc a few 3XV's, MC21, VJ22 and a VJ23 which i sold last feb (cracking bike) and a couple of CRM250's (hence the name) inc a mint late CRM250AR.

Had enough of 250 strokers now i think, always a place in my heart for one, but being honest the ducati and RC30 are costly and take much attn so i dont think i could handle the stress of another stroker.
anyway i hope my little GAG bikes deem me worthy enough to join in the fun, even if ones for sale. I shall of course post up some pics soon.

Its nice to know i am not alone with a strange bike hoarding problem. Ali said there were people who would appreciate the problem i had now i know where you all are Wink

Yeah, you qualify - your Gag bikes get you in and we all secretly want an RC30 anyway. Wink I've seen the inside of Ali's garage - your's sounds very similar. Cool Post some pictures ! Very Happy

Sadly I don't have a bike hoarding problem but I'd like one... Crying or Very sad

A pic of the beast
