Hi All
I see that a lot of the lad's on her have TZR or TDR.......Me I've got An RD250E..... I hope this doesn't mean that i can't play out!
Any way I'm rebuilding it at the moment! but i hope to have it on the road for summer 2010.
This is how she looked when i got her!
Not that pretty i know! and a lot of part's missing
But got stuck in to restoring her,and this is how it's going.
Fork's where bad ..so sent them of to get re chromed at Phil pots,..nice job too
this is how they look now!
Then started on the the bit's and bob's.
Sent the frame in to get p/coated,.....So! got on with the crank casings.
It comes in handy having your own Vapour Blasting unit!
I will post some more soon!
Cheers

JESUS!!!
Hi Tony,
I've seen some projects before now, but that's shocking - you obviously haven't heard the term "rod for your own back"?! Seriously though it's a credit to you and I can't wait to see it in the Summer.

Amazing work! Very thorough with superb attention to detail. Looking at what you started out with I think it's incredible what you have achieved so far. Keep up the good work!
P.S. Do you take on commissions? |

Hi,
I'm also based in hull, unfortunately my TDR looks a lot closer to your first pick than the others but I should start making some headway now if it ever gets warm enough to get back in the garage.
Yours looking good though, can you recommend anyone local for powder coating, I have some bits that have been done once that I'm not very happy with but only want to get them done again if the form is recommended.
Cheers
