Brake calipers are off and blasted as I type, front hoses are replaced, just need some fair weather that coincides with some time off and will get the brakes repainted and rebuilt....hopefully by next Friday, it'll be MOT'd!! _________________ Breathing new life into an old Gamma!

Calipers repainted and bled (nightmare, again, but learning a few tricks!) and FINALLY its MOT'd!! put nearly 30 miles on it today, no problems other than the clutch needs adjusting. Really happy
Taxed now too.....you can be sure of rain this weekend now! _________________ Breathing new life into an old Gamma!

Looks beautiful. A credit to all your hard work in resurecting this machine.
Well done!
That bike deserves an outing to the Shoulder of Mutton at Granborough near Rugby (Last Sunday of the month) |

It looks lovely there. I wouldn't mind another mk3 but to be honest I wasn't overly impressed with the one I had. |

Thanks guys.
Bitacus, there is a powervalve control unit on ebay at the moment, unless Robinsons were able to help you?
And Jim, you're right in thinking its no rocketship, but it brings back happy memories for me, I enjoyed doing it, and I reckon they look stunning in this paint scheme, and speed aside, I reckon its a great bike, especially for a returning rider such as I am _________________ Breathing new life into an old Gamma!

True, I always thought it was a very pretty bike but not particularly quick, especially compared to the later 250's.
I'd still love another one though, especially if it was as nice as yours! |
