MVX250 pistons
Ok I found one 47.5mm 0.5mm oversize and with out getting the verniers out could be a CR85 piston ? (half moon in place of a window etc)
The ? is has some one found a slug that fits for this bike ?

Crown is 3mm higher on the MVX250 so a longer con rod on the crank ?
I will find some thing that works and more power

Hi Trev
The trouble is the rear piston has either a 14 or 18mm pin against the fronts 12mm. I have some pattern fronts that come in closer to what you have. Could only need the window in the skirt matching, but I only got them the other day and havent had a chance to measure them yet.
If your Cr piston is 3mm shorter pin to crown, then you could have the bottom of the cyliders machined, but you cant put it back afterwards.
An MBX80 piston is pretty close and could be worth a look, but again it leave the problem of the rear pistons. Maybe we could have a batch made and get the £400 each price down a bit.
I have a variety of new genuine Honda pistons, but at this stage looking to swap to make up sets. _________________ MVX250 1983 MVX250 1984 GT380J 1972

Have a chat with Ian wright at Classic Race Replicas. He's identified pistons suitable for the NS400 and might be able to help with the MVX. If you don't ask, you never know. _________________ Alastair

Guys
I have cleared out another Australian dealer of his MVX250 engine parts, so I have gaskets, o rings, seals, pistons, rings and rods on their way to the UK, but I still cant put a set of pistons and rings together.
I need
front 0.5 pistons 13092-KG4-505
Std front pistons 13101-KG4-000 - 13102 - 13105
0.25 rings 13012-KG4-305
Head gasket 12251-KG4-000
Willing to buy or swap from my stock of over £6K of MVX parts _________________ MVX250 1983 MVX250 1984 GT380J 1972
