Excellent thread, the trials and tribulations of a project bike.
Keep the good work up, and you'll soon be finished. |

Picked all my bits up today so I can crack on a bit
Next job is to get the back wheel painted, disc cleaned up and painted,I've already painted the caliper and got the new sprocket and hub, picked up spare wheels so will get the rear painted and then start building it up
Any one know where I can get a wavey disc from? As I'd like to go a bit tricky with this now, would ask on the 125 forum but it's full of kids to busy wanking over porn on the net!!!!!
Updates and pics will be coming a lot quicker now! |

lookin' good, the bike and the shed, got a mate who's built three sheds in his garden and doesn't stop talking about them, he doesn't even have enough stuff to put in them! _________________ just do it |

Wouldnt matter how big the shed was I'd still fill it !
New wheel bearings just arrived in the post
The wavey disc is not happening, only one I can find is from china and the quality is a bit dubious, the Ducati one was 10 mm to big diameter wise |

Spent two hours tonight prepping the rear wheel for paint
Wire brush drill attachment is now my best friend!
Cleaned up and painted the rear disc
Also the second-hand rear master cylinder turned out to be goosed so made one good one out of that and my one
Just need a tire a set of pads and the rim painting and that's the back end done [/list] |

Picked up the stainless bolts needed for building the back wheel so time for paint tomorow
And While looking for back tires I stumbled across a website selling a Dunlop front brand new at £19.80!!!!!
Got to be a mistake on the website so I've ordered one and it's on it's way
Dunlop sportmax 120/60/17 for less than £20 delivered!
How's that for a bargain ha ha
Will wait and see if it actually turns up though |
