there seems to be a lot of mis0information going about how to register a bike for the road with the dvla for road use . the bike concerned is a cr500 never registered for road use . the problem is the frame number is illegible .

how easy is this going to be ?. have considered buying another frame will this help . will this thing ever pass an sva test ? whats the criteria for a sva test ?

the bike has a frame number , which i wrote down and then sent the bike away to be stove enammeled . while it was away i went to a honda dealer and ordered some parts and he told me the frame number wasn't quite right . the stoving has made the number illegable and i don't realy want to scrape it off (lazy i know)

oh and the bike is between an 85 and 87 model , i fitted the upside down forks from a 92 model .
